Summary

The 2024 Japan Die Casting Congress & Exposition (Dates: November 14 (Thu.) to 16 (Sat.), 2024; Venue: Pacifico Yokohama convention center) was organized by the Japan Die Casting Association. The purpose of the event is to contribute to the development of die casting and related industries by introducing new technologies, new products, facilities, equipment, auxiliary materials, etc. from die casting and die casting related companies, and to contribute to the development of the industry. Held every other year, this year was the 24th held, and 216 companies and organizations, 64 more than the previous expo in 2022, exhibited. In particular, there was an increase in the number of Gigacast-related companies exhibiting from China. This report focuses on the exhibition of the Gigacast and high-quality special aluminum die-cast parts.
