The TsubameSanjo Manufacturing Messe 2019 (date: October 17 to 18, 2019; venue: TsubameSanjo Regional Industries Promotion Center) was organized by the Trade Show Executive Committee of the TsubameSanjo Regional Industries Promotion Center Foundation. This is the sixth year that the event, one of the leading industrial exhibitions for the cities of Tsubame and Sanjo in this region, was held. The manufacturing town of TsubameSanjo is located in the center of Niigata Prefecture, the merged cities of Tsubame City and Sanjo City. The history of “Manufacturing” in both cities is said to have started with the production of Japanese nails in the Edo period (1603-1868) of Japan. Since then, the area’s history of manufacturing items such as cutlery has been handed down through the generations. In recent years, following the advancement of metal technologies, the city continues to evolve as one of the world's leading centers for advanced metal processing technologies. The area is famous in Japan for metal products such as cutlery and western tableware, but also manufactures auto parts. Globally, it has a reputation for producing titanium golf club heads for a number of famous brands.
