Summary
On March 27 - April 7, 2019, adopting the theme of "Enjoyment of Automobiles" Thailand's 40th Bangkok International Motor Show (40th BIMS), held in Bangkok, attended by 33 international automotive brands and 14 renowned motorcycle companies. 2019 also marks the first time for McLaren, world-class supercar brand, to participate in the event. The expected number of attendees during this 12-day event is as high as 1.62 million people (recorded in 2018).
Models introduced at the event in Thailand for the first time include all-new Suzuki Jimny, the MG V80 passenger van, all-new Chevrolet Captiva mid-size SUV, all-new Toyota Commuter passenger van etc. There are also several concept cars, presented at the event, such as Mitsubishi e-Evolution Concept, MG ZS EV, Mazda Kai Concept, Subaru XV GT Edition, etc.
