Summary
This is the second JSAE report that covers exhibits by Japanese OEMs at the 2014 Automotive Engineering Exposition held in Yokohama, Japan on May 21 to 23, 2014 (hosted by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan). This report summarizes safety driving assistance technologies such as Nissan’s Smart Rearview Mirror and the new EyeSight (ver.3) from Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI: maker of Subaru automobiles). It also introduces latest mini and commercial vehicle technologies, ultra micro electric vehicles (EVs), and the Yamaha Tricity.
