- The Global Light Vehicle (LV) selling rate for August stood at 88.1 mn, broadly in line with the previous month’s result. Even though the latest month’s LV sales volume fell by 10.3% year-on-year (YoY) in August, this compared to a fairly strong August 2019. Broadly speaking, the latest results are encouraging.
- Lockdown measures are now fairly loose in many parts of the world, but a risk of the reintroduction of more restrictive and widespread measures certainly cannot be ruled out. China continued to display positive YoY growth, and most regions saw stronger selling rates than a few months ago.
