The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for December 2022.
Retail
December retail sales of passenger cars totaled 2.169 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) increase of 3.0%.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs)
In December, wholesale volumes of NEV passenger cars were 750,000 units, up 48.9% y/y.
