  Production volume of electrified vehicles in August 2015 in China increased by 6.8% month-over-month (m/m) and by 4.3-fold year-over-year (y/y) to 26,307 units (510 electric vehicles [EVs] equipped with lead-acid batteries were included). Production volume has exceeded 20,000 units for four consecutive months. It is forecasted that monthly production of electrified vehicles will continue to be maintained at 20,000 units due to the policies for promoting new energy vehicles that have been implemented by the government.
