Ford U.S. sales down 6.6% in Q3 with model discontinuation, supplier problems

On October 2, Ford Motor announced that its Q3 U.S. sales were down 6.6% to 509,764 units. Overall Ford vehicle sales in the U.S. for the first 9 months of 2026, were down 8.6% to 1,516,279 units.
Ford brand vehicle sales were down 6.0% to 490,276 units, and Lincoln brand sales were down 18.0% in Q3.
