Hyundai Motor union stages full-scale strike on August 21
On August 21, the Korean Metal Workers' Union (KMWU) announced that it had carried out a joint strike across the automotive industry. Approximately 50,000 union members from 50 workplaces participated in the action. At Hyundai Motor's union branch, around 38,000 members joined the strike.
