BMW Steyr plant, Austria expands Neue Klasse electric motor production to two shifts
On July 7, BMW Austria announced that its Steyr plant, has started production of electric motors for the Neue Klasse on two shifts from July 6, 2026. The plant now produces more than 4,000 electric motors per week, with output continuing to increase.
