EU Parliament approves U.S. trade deal, heads to European Council
On June 16, the European Parliament ratified its trade deal with the U.S., voting 440-151, with 50 abstentions. The European Council (EC) is now expected to give their final approval on June 26, ahead of President Trump’s July 4th deadline, as the last step in a yearlong ratification process.
