GM successfully avoids strike at Silao plant in Mexico
On April 13, it was reported that unionized workers at the General Motors plant in Silao approved the 2026–2028 collective agreement, securing a 15% overall wage increase in 3 years and avoiding a strike that had been scheduled for April 15. The union had initially sought a 20% wage increase.
