Trump imposing 10%, threatens 25% tariff on EU countries over his plans for Greenland
On January 17, U.S. President Trump said in a Truth Social posting that he would charge a 10% import tax starting in February on goods from eight European nations because of their opposition to American control of Greenland, setting up a precarious test of U.S. partnerships in Europe.
