Shouldering the mission of building China into an automotive powerhouse, CCAG will:
- Accelerate the implementation of three strategies: Project Shangri-La (for the establishment of a world-class New Energy Vehicle (NEV) platform and the development of industry technologies such as next-generation batteries and IGBT modules), Dubhe (for the development of core technologies such as end-to-end intelligent driver assistance systems, the exploration of means of mobility such as Robotaxi and Robobus, and the establishment of national-level innovation platforms), and Vast Ocean (for the acceleration of the “152” globalization plan).
- Implement model plans: Launch over 50 NEV models on the global market in the coming five years. Continuously develop three NEV sub-brands on a global scale, namely, Avatr, Deepal, and Nevo. Build “new quality productive forces” such as intelligent automotive robots, flying cars, and embodied intelligence.
- Establish an industrial ecosystem: The ecosystem will cover finished vehicle, component, sales service, logistics, and motorbike operations and extend to emerging areas such as commercial unmanned driving, flying cars, and humanoid robots.
Also released were strategic plans and goals for Nevo, Avatr, and Deepal.
- Nevo, CCAG’s major NEV force, will strive for a global sales volume of over 1 million units by 2027 and over 1.8 million units by 2030. For products, the brand will create the SDA (Software Driven Architecture) platform and an energy architecture to support the group development of models in the CNY 1 million range. For model plans, the brand will launch a LiDAR-equipped variant of the Q07 model this September and is expected to launch the A06 model and the new B216 small battery electric SUV this Q4. Going forward, the brand will place emphasis on forging a globally competitive model lineup with 3-5 popular global models in the CNY 300,000-500,000 range, including the A06 and the B216.
- Deepal, at the core of CCAG’s NEV operations, aims to achieve a sales share of 35% in markets outside of China, be fully AI-driven in terms of technology, launch a total of 30 new models, and invest a total of over CNY 100 billion in R&D by 2030. In the second half of 2025, the brand will continue to perfect its product portfolio by introducing the L06 intelligent coupe and putting the S07 and S05 models on sale in the European market.
- Positioned as a brand for new luxury intelligent EVs, Avatr will receive support from CCAG in funds, resources, personnel, and frontier technologies to grow into a world-class luxury brand at a faster pace. The brand will continue to deepen cooperation with Huawei and CATL to ensure the leadership of its products in intelligentization and electrification. With focus on the price range of CNY 250,000-700,000, the brand will introduce a flagship SUV developed with Huawei in 2026.
