NextStar Energy plant begins battery module production
On October 23, 2024, NextStar Energy, a joint venture between LG Energy Solutions and Stellantis, begun battery module production in its Windsor, Ontario facility. The facility is expected to reach an annual production capacity of 49.96 gigawatt-hours, which is enough to power 450,000 vehicles per year.
