FCA gearshift probe by NHSTA reveals 266 crashes, 68 injuries [ USA ]
The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) posted documents on June 27 showing that 266 crashes which injured 68 people were related to confusing gearshifters on Jeep Grand Cherokees and other FCA vehicles. Investigators also received 686 consumer complaints about the shifters. The investigation had been closed after Fiat Chrysler agreed to recall 1.1 million vehicles. Star...
