Like the XL6, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is a three-row MPV model built on Suzuki's global "HEARTECT" platform.
For parts sourcing, the company relies heavily on Indian-owned suppliers, including Nippon Audiotronix for in-vehicle cameras, Krishna Maruti for seats, Subros for HVAC systems, and SKH for fuel tanks.
The battery for the Smart Hybrid (Suzuki' s term for mild hybrid) is manufactured by TDS Lithium-Ion, a joint venture between Suzuki, Toshiba, and Denso.
