Supply chain: Toyota Highlander (USA)

The U.S.-produced Toyota Highlander was introduced as the current fourth-generation (XU70) 2020 model.

It is available in both gasoline and hybrid versions. It is a midsize crossover SUV with three rows of seats, accommodating seven or eight passengers.
The hybrid model was introduced to the Japanese market in April 2026.
It utilizes Toyota's hybrid-specific transmission, the e-CVT (manufactured by Aisin). Denso serves as the primary supplier for electric system control, inverters, and ECUs, while Koito Manufacturing handles the lamps and ADVICS is responsible for the braking systems.
In the infotainment sector, the display audio is supplied by China's Desay SV.
