-The Company is a general group engaged in metal processing, which has an integrated production organization that included the production of raw materials to final product processing.

Business Results Highlights

-The Company’s financial results for the fiscal year that ended in March 2020 are as follows.
Consolidated sales: JPY 263,305 million (8.0% decrease year-over-year)
Operating income: JPY 2,851 million (62.0% decrease year-over-year)
Ordinary income: JPY 3,597 million (61.6% decrease year-over-year)
Current net loss attributable to the parent-company’s shareholders: JPY 4,497 million

Mid-term Business Plan
-The Company announced that it has developed its new mid-term business plan for three years from April 2019 (FY 2019-FY 2021), Growth & Change 2021. The company will reorganize its wheel production and sales systems, and officially start businesses in new fields, such as the sales expansion for cosmetic base ingredients, and automotive guided vehicles (AGVs) for factory automation. Topy Industries aims to increase sales to JPY 320 billion in FY 2021, and operating profit to JPY 16 billion (increases of 11.8% and 113.3%, respectively, compared to FY 2018).
