History

Jun. 1943	Established as "Sanko Senzai Kogyo Co., Ltd."with capital of 1.7 million yen to manufacture and process piano wires, springs and other wiring products.
Jun. 1952	Began supplying automotive-engine spring valves to several companies, including Toyota.
Jun. 1953	Successfully began mass-producing bead-wires for car tires.
Oct. 1964	Listed on the Osaka Stock Exchange Second Section.
Oct. 1967	Established Toyota plant in Aichi Pref.
Dec. 1972	Established Suncall Sendai in Miyagi Pref.
Feb. 1974	Established Suncall Kikuchi Corp. in Kumamoto Pref.
Mar. 1981	Established Suncall Engineering in Yamanashi Pref.
May 1989	Established Suncall Sanko Corp. in Michigan, USA with 100% ownership.
Jun. 1989	Established Sanko Peterson Corp. with 50% ownership by Suncall Sanko Corp. in Michigan, USA.
Nov. 1989	Established Hirose Plant in Toyota, Aichi.
Apr. 1991	Changed the company name to Suncall Corporation.
Apr. 1992	Established Suncall Co., (H.K.) Ltd. in Hong Kong with 100% ownership.
Nov. 1992	Constructed the Hirose Plant as a subsidiary called Hirose Technology Corporation.
Mar. 1994	Sanko Co., (H.K.) Ltd. built a factory in Shenzhen, China.
Mar. 1995	Acquired ISO9001 certification for the design and development of automotive-engine valve-spring material and suspensions for HDDs; and ISO9002 for the production of automotive-engine valve spring material.
Jan. 1997	Closed Suncall Sendai, transferring the operations to Suncall Kikuchi Corp.
Oct. 1997	Established PT. Suncall Indonesia (a subsidiary) in Indonesia.
Jan. 2000	Established Suncall America Inc. (a subsidiary) in North America.
Nov. 2000	Established Suncall High Precision (Thailand) Ltd. (a subsidiary) in Thailand.
Feb. 2001	Liquidated Suncall Sanko Corp.
Dec. 2001	Listed on the Osaka Stock Exchange First Section.
Jan. 2004	Converted Sanko Peterson Corp. in the U.S.A., a company in which the Company had a 57% holding, into a 100% wholly owned subsidiary and merged the operations into Suncall America Inc.
May 2004	Constructed the Nano Tech Center within the premises of the home office.
Mar. 2006	Established Suncall (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. in Guangzhou, China.
Apr. 2009	Merged its subsidiary, Hirose Technology Corporation.
Dec. 2012	Invested in Kobelco Spring Wire (Foshan) Co., Ltd. through Kobe Steel Company.
Jul. 2013	Listed in the first section of Tokyo Stock Exchange, after the merger of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and Osaka Stock Exchange.
Sep. 2013	Established Suncall Technologies Mexico, S.A. de C.V. in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
Nov. 2013	Established a joint venture called K&S Wire Co., Ltd. in Yangsan, South Korea.
Jun. 2014	Established Suncall (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. in Tianjin, China.
Oct. 2014	Established a joint venture called HS Power Spring Mexico S.A. de C.V. in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
Jan. 2017	Established Suncall America Inc. Dallas Office in Dallas, Texas.
Apr. 2020	Established the Kyoto Minami Plant in Kyoto’s Minami Ward.
Feb. 2022	Acquired IATF16949 for the production of shunt busbars at the Kyoto Minami Plant.
Apr. 2022	Moved from the First Section to the Prime Market due to the revision of the market classification of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
