1961 | Established in India. |

1991 | Implementation of a large USD 50 million forging facility upgrade program by commissioning 16000 MT and 6000 MT screw press lines of Weingarten (Germany) |
1997-98 | Establishment of new machining facilities for crankshafts, front axle beams and heavy steering knuckles. |

Jan. 2002 | Concluded an agreement for the supply of forgings to Dana Corporation's Spicer Europe Limited operation in Kirkstall, Leeds, U.K. (Kirkstall Forge Division in England and Wales). |
Jan. 2004 | Acquired Carl Dan. Peddinghaus GmbH & Co. KG (CDP), one of the largest German forging companies, with plants in Ennepetal and Daun/Eifel. |
Dec. 2004 | Acquired 100% ownership interest in CDP Aluminiumtechnik GmbH & Co KG. (CDP-AT) through a German subsidiary. |
Jun. 2005 | Acquired Federal Forge Inc., USA. Federal Forge is engaged in the design and manufacture of complex forged steel components for the automotive Industry. |
Sep. 2005 | Acquired a 100 percent stake in Imatra Kilsta AB, which includes its wholly owned subsidiary, Scottish Stampings Limited. |
Mar. 2006 | In China, established a joint venture, FAW Bharat Forge (Changchun) Company Limited with FAW Corporation of China. |
2008 | Established Heavy Duty Crankshaft Forging and Machining facility at Baramati. |
2009 | Established the Ring Rolling facility at Baramati. |
