Strategic cooperation
-Visteon announced the establishment of a joint venture (JV) in Michigan, USA with Shinry Technologies Co., Ltd. (Shinry), a China-headquartered tier-one auto parts supplier specializing in in-vehicle charging and power distribution solutions for New Energy Vehicles. The JV, named Visteon-Shinry Power Electronics, will combine the two parties’ expertise to strategically grow their power electronics capabilities. (From a Visteon press release dated March 7, 2024)

-Changchun FAWAY Automobile Components Co., Ltd. (FAWAY) announced that its subsidiary, Changchun FAWAY Visteon Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. (FAWAY Visteon), started production of instrument clusters for FAW Toyota. It marks the first time that FAWAY Visteon has become a supplier of FAW Toyota. (From a press release dated March 17, 2023)
