Aisin Seiki demonstrated active safety technology at ITS World Congress Tokyo 2013. At the demonstration, Zone 30 environment for securing people's safety in a residential neighborhood is assumed. The demonstration vehicle, Toyota "Prius" was equipped with Stereo cameras on front and back and GPS navigation system.
 The demonstration vehicle showed items like, Calling for a car via gesture, inattentiveness detection via Driver Monitoring System, pedestrian detection and automatic braking via front-view camera, and fully automatic parking and pedestrian detection via rear-view camera.
