Components such as cylinder heads and oil pans are made of plastic, which reduces product weight and engine noise. The engine produces cleaner emissions thanks to an efficient combustion system. It achieves a high engine brake power of 250kW/L due to the adoption of a double stroke exhaust brake and the elimination of a butterfly valve. Pistons are made from specially processed material that stabilizes the heat expansion rate and narrows the space between the piston and the cylinder wall. The company said these improvements, together with a newly designed return oil pool, reduce engine oil consumption. (From a press release on December 31, 2014)
