Divestiture

-In Sep. 2007, together with its partner Michelin, the Company decided to position the Woco Michelin AVS joint venture on the market as an independent company. The equity investment company Arques will acquire the Woco Michelin AVS joint venture, which specializes in Anti-Vibration Systems for the automotive industry.

Contract

-In Aug. 2006, the Company signed an supply agreement with Russia's largest automobile manufacturer AvtoVAZ.

Joint Ventures

-In Nov. 2004, the Company and Motherson Sumi Systems of India established Woco Motherson Advanced Rubber Technologies Ltd (WMART). WMART, situated in Kandla, India, specializes in manufacturing rubber parts, rubber-plastic parts, rubber-metal parts and liquid silicon rubber parts. Product range includes bellows, grommets, sealing caps, shock dampers, cable grommets, LSR precision parts, gear covers, cover plates and stoppers, pedal covers and a wide range of gaskets.

-In Mar. 2004, the Company and Motherson Sumi Systems of India established Woco Motherson Elastomer Ltd. (WMEL). WMEL, situated in Noida, India, is a 100% E.O.U. and exports to Germany. The product range includes spring pads for suspension assemblies.

R&D Facilities

-In 2014, the Company is building a new technical center in Novi, Michigan, US. The facility will accommodate 20 to 25 employees on an area of 7,000 square feet. Major business activities will include sales, design engineering and so on. The new center also offer ample space for a prototype-making department with a testing laboratory for validation testing.
