Recent Development in Japan
＜Kameyama Factory＞
-A 3,000-ton servo transfer-press was installed to process super high-tensile steel plates that are very strong and light.
Recent Development outside Japan
＜China＞
- The second plant at WH Auto Parts Industries Inc., a subsidiary, was expanded, with welding machinery added. Production is scheduled to start in February 2019.
- The Company set up a new production plant in in Changsha, China , where GAC Mitsubishi Motor is located. This enabled the Company to expand its supply network by increasing its welding and assembly operations.

Recent R&D Activities (Automotive Component Division)
-Developed a welding/mating process
-Developed stamping process technology for high tensile materials and light weight materials
-Developed a outer parts stamping process
-Developed functional parts by incorporating thick plate precision stamping technology and assembly technology
-Developed material hardening technology
-Developed an in-house information system based on CAD, CAM, and CAE technology; and trained engineers to use it
