Center
The Anjo Technology Center was established in May 2001 in Anjo-shi,
Aichi for R&D purposes.
-It analyzes market needs and trends and relays this information
to the Company's locations around the world.
-It aims to develop environmentally friendly, highly functional,
high-density and high-quality products.
Joint Ventures
March 2001 | The Company established Inoac Tokai in Thailand, as the result of a joint venture with Tokai Rubber. The J/V began operations with capital of 120 million yen (the Company 40%, Tokai 34%, a local investor 26%). Tokai Rubber introduced vehicle hose technology to the Company's existing water and fuel hose factory. This will be the Company's production base for vehicle hoses in ASEAN. |
March 2001 | The Company established
a 50-50 joint venture, Inorec Japan, with Belgium's Recticel
to produce interior trim for vehicles. Recticel has polyurethane skin molding technology and produces interior trim, which it supplies to Japanese vehicle manufacturers. |
