New Company
-Beijing Hella BHAP Automotive Lighting Co., Ltd., BHAP's joint-venture with Hella, inaugurated a new plant in Changzhou, a city in Jiangsu Province. With a total investment of more than EUR 10 million, the new plant is the third one under the joint venture and currently has a production area of about 12,000 square meters and employs more than 150 people. As a result of future expansion, the number of employees is expected to increase to around 300. The new plant will focus on the development and production of cutting-edge vehicle front-end products, including a transverse light strip with a length of over two meters that spans the entire front of the vehicle. The light strips will be manufactured by the plant at an initial annual production capacity of about 600,000 sets and supplied to Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers. -Beijing Hainachuan Yanfeng Automotive Parts Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Company, started operations on February 14, 2022. The company is one of the first companies to be established at Beijing Huairou Mausoleum Automobile Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Park. With a site area of 15,700 square meters, it will provide products and services such as cockpit modules mainly to Beijing Benz and others. It has an annual production capacity of 150,000 units and is expected to reach USD 1.5 billion in production value in 2022. (From multiple media reports dated February 16, 2022)
-Hainachuan established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangxi Beiqi Hainachuan Xinghui Auto Parts Co., Ltd., which is located in Hainachuan Park, Beiqi Industrial Park, Hongyuan Town, Changnan New District, Jingdezhen City. -The company announced that its subsidiaries began the supply of products for the Great Wall Motor V61. Strategic cooperation
-Bohai Automotive Systems Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Company, agreed to form a strategic partnership in the field of weight reduction with Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group Co., Ltd. Exhibition
-The Company announced that it will exhibit products of its subsidiaries Inalfa Roof Systems Group B.V., Bohai Trimet Automotive Holding GmbH, and Zibo Bohai Piston Co., Ltd. at IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich. At this exhibition, the Company will present a smart roof that combines LiDAR and camera with a self-cleaning function, aluminum alloy die-cast lightweight parts with high NVH performance, and pistons made with the new material BH137 and having lightweight design.
