Turkey vehicle sales up 7.0% and production up 6.0% in 2022
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that vehicle sales of 121,946 units in December 2022 represented an 83.0% increase over December 2021. In 2022, vehicle sales of 827,147 units represented a 7.0% increase.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Fiat sales were 146,435 units in 2022 (18.7% market share), Renault sales were 99,639 units (12.7% share), Ford sales were 77,435 units (9.9% share), VW sales were 60,341 units (7.7% share) and Toyota sales were 49,937 units (6.4% share).
Sales of passenger vehicles under 1,600cc increased 2.7% YoY to 515,340 units (87.0% share).
Gasoline-engine vehicle increased 9.5% to 408,920 units (69.0% share), Diesel decreased 6.5% to 103,311 units (17.4% share), Hybrid increased 30.1% to 64,387 units (10.9% share), EV increased 171.7% to 7,733 units (1.3% share).
Vehicles with AT increased 8.4% to 464,338 units (78.3% share).
Turkey's production in December increased 8.2% to 142,314 units while it increased 6.0% to 1,352,648 units in 2022.
Imported vehicles were up 6.7% to 454,145 vehicles while exported vehicles were up 3.5% to 970,124 units in 2022.

Turkey vehicle sales up 34.9% and production up 15.8% in November
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that vehicle sales of 86,481 units in November 2022 represented a 34.9% increase over November 2021.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Fiat sales were 14,297 units in November (17.4% market share), Renault sales were 9,234 units (11.2% share), Ford sales were 9,083 units (11.0% share), Toyota sales were 5,613 units (6.8% share) and Peugeot sales were 5,149 units (6.3% share).
Sales of passenger vehicles under 1,600cc increased 33.1% YoY to 49,947 units (84.3% share).
Gasoline-engine vehicle increased 24.5% to 37,420 units (63.2% share), Diesel increased 74.0% to 12,368 units (20.9% share), Hybrid increased 74.1% to 7,607 units (12.8% share), EV increased 197.9% to 1,275 units (2.2% share).
Vehicles with AT increased 34.4% to 48,352 units (81.6% share).
Turkey's production of 133,466 units in November was up 15.8% YoY.
Imported vehicles were up 40.3% to 50,285 vehicles while exported vehicles were up 27.4% to 96,870 units in November.

Turkey vehicle sales up 15.0% and production up 6.7% in October
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that vehicle sales of 69,093 units in October 2022 represented a 15.0% increase over October 2021.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Fiat sales were 13,198 units in October (20.2% market share), Ford sales were 7,654 units (11.7% share), Renault sales were 6,891 units (10.6% share),
VW sales were 5,202 units (8.0% share) and Dacia sales were 3,687 units (5.7% share).
Sales of passenger vehicles under 1,600cc increased 12.8% YoY to 40,717 units (85.8% share).
Gasoline-engine vehicle increased 35.3% to 34,614 units (73.0% share), Diesel decreased 36.4% to 6,163 units (13.0% share), Hybrid increased 58.0% to 5,507 units (11.6% share), EV increased 106.8% to 883 units (1.9% share).
Vehicles with AT increased 22.8% to 35,951 units (75.8% share).
Turkey's production of 114,835 units in October was up 6.7% YoY. Imported vehicles were up 20.5% to 37,918 vehicles while exported vehicles were up 5.0% to 91,353 units in October.

Turkey vehicle sales up 11.0% and production up 20.5% in September
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that vehicle sales of 66,304 units in September 2022 represented a 11.0% increase over September 2021.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Fiat sales were 13,001 units in September (20.9% market share), Ford sales were 7,352 units (11.8% share), Renault sales were 5,248 units (8.5% share), VW sales were 4,731 units (7.6% share) and Toyota sales were 3,791 units (6.1% share).
Sales of passenger vehicles under 1,600cc increased 2.0% YoY to 39,272 units (87.9% share), gasoline-engine vehicle increased 4.4% to 31,094 units (69.6% share) and vehicles with AT increased 3.0% to 34,147 units (76.4% share).
Turkey's production of 128,872 units in September was up 20.5% YoY.
Imported vehicles were up 6.4% to 36,131 vehicles while exported vehicles were up 27.0% to 96,810 units in September.

Turkey vehicle sales decrease 13.7% and production decrease 13.3% in August
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that vehicle sales of 52,256 units in August 2022 represented a 13.7% decrease over August 2021.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Fiat sales were 8,012 units in August (16.6% market share), VW sales were 5,031 units (10.4% share), Renault sales were 4,756 units (9.8% share), Ford sales were 4,508 units (9.3% share) and
Toyota sales were 3,869 units (8.0% share).
Sales of vehicles under 1,600cc decreased 25.8% YoY to 30,159 units (85.6% share), gasoline-engine vehicle decreased 23.1% to 24,358 units (69.1% share) and vehicles with AT decreased 6.8% to 275,308 units (77.7% share).
Turkey's production of 92,625 units in August was down 13.3% YoY. Imported vehicles were down 3.6% to 31,360 vehicles while exported vehicles were down 21.9% to 64,515 units in August.

Turkey vehicle sales increase 11.2% and production increase 37.4% in July
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that vehicle sales 55,324 units in July 2022 represented an increase 11.2% over July 2021.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Fiat sales were 13,680 units in July (26.2% market share), VW sales were 5,411 units (10.4% share), Ford sales were 4,530 units (8.7% share), Renault sales were 4,459 units (8.5% share) and Dacia sales were 3,566 units (6.8% share).
In July, sales of gasoline or diesel engine powered cars under 1,600cc increased 17.0% YoY to 37,621 units (91.7% share), gasoline-engine cars increased 19.6% to 30,047 units (73.2% share) and vehicles with AT transmission increased 8.5% to 29,670 units (72.3% share).
Turkey's production of 93,659 units in July was up 37.4% YoY.
Imported vehicles were up 1.2% to 28,898 vehicles. Exported vehicles were up 16.2% to 59,596 units in July.

Turkey vehicle sales increase 1.9% and production increase 26.3% in June
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that vehicle sales of 84,866 units in June 2022 represented a 1.9% increase over June 2021.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Fiat sales were 17,871 units in June (22.2% market share), Renault sales were 12,438 units (15.4% share), Ford sales were 6,640 units (8.2% share), VW sales were 6,106 units (7.6% share) and Hyundai sales were 4,128 units (5.1% share).
Sales of vehicles under 1,600cc increased 4.2% YoY to 57,794 units (90.1% share), gasoline-engine vehicle increased 4.1% to 44,916 units (70.0% share) and vehicles with AT increased 3.7% to 47,998 units (74.8% share).
Turkey's production of 135,424 units in June was up 26.3% YoY. Imported vehicles were down 4.8% to 43,313 vehicles while exported vehicles were up 22.9% to 86,623 units in June.

Turkey vehicle sales increase 18.6% and production increase 25.5% in May
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that vehicle sales of 68,220 units in May 2022 represented a 18.6% increase over May 2021.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Fiat sales were 13,153 units in May (20.2% market share), Renault sales were 7,321 units (11.2% share), VW sales were 6,434 units (9.9% share), Ford sales were 5,438 units (8.3% share) and Toyota sales were 4,480 units (6.9% share).
Sales of vehicles under 1,600cc increased 15.7% YoY to 45,209 units (87.4% share), gasoline-engine vehicle increased 31.7% to 36,022 units (69.6% share) and vehicles with AT increased 24.7% to 39,880 units (77.1% share).
Turkey's production of 103,984 units in May was up 25.5% YoY.
Imported vehicles were up 25.5% to 40,080 vehicles while exported vehicles were up 51.7% to 78,650 units in May.

Turkey vehicle sales decrease 3.1% and production increases 3.2% in April
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that vehicle sales of 62,562 units in April 2022 represented a 3.1% decrease over April 2021.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Renault sales were 8,953 units in April (14.9% market share), Fiat sales were 8,703 units (14.5% share), Ford sales were 6,123 units (10.2% share), VW sales were 5,962 units (9.9% share) and Toyota sales were 4,977 units (8.3% share).
Sales of vehicles under 1,600cc decreased 10.5% YoY to 39,379 units (86.4% share), gasoline-engine vehicle decreased 0.3% to 31,323 units (68.7% share) and vehicles with AT increased 1.1% to 37,334 units (81.9% share).
Turkey's production of 107,167 units in April was up 3.2% YoY.
Imported vehicles were down 7.4% to 33,615 units in April while exported vehicles were down 2.5% to 76,173 vehicles.

Turkey passenger car sales decrease 31.8% and production decrease 13.7% in March
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that passenger car sales of 68,245 units in March 2022 represented a 31.8% decrease over March 2021.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Renault sales were 9,779 units in March (15.2% market share), Fiat sales were 8,744 units (13.6% share), VW sales were 6,265 units (9.7% share), Ford sales were 5,068 units (7.9% share) and Toyota sales were 4,052 units (6.3% share).
Sales of passenger vehicles under 1,600cc decreased 37.6% YoY to 43,022 units (85.7% share), gasoline-engine car decreased 31.4% to 35,001 units (69.8% share) and vehicles with AT decreased 31.3% to 40,220 units (80.2% share).
Turkey's production of 106,575 units in March was down 13.7% YoY.
Imported vehicles were down 30.6% to 39,999 vehicles while exported vehicles were down 17.5% to 78,925 units in March.

Turkey passenger car sales decrease 15.0% and production decrease 9.0% in February
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that passenger car sales of 52,098 units in February 2022 represented a 15% decrease over February 2021.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Fiat sales were 6,812 units in February (13.7% market share), Renault sales were 6,155 units (12.4% share), Ford sales were 4,767 units (9.6% share), Hyundai sales were 4,310 units (8.7% share) and Toyota sales were 3,817 units (7.7% share).
Sales of passenger vehicles under 1,600cc decreased 16.6% YoY to 33,531 units (89.1% share), gasoline-engine car increased 1.4% to 27,210 units (72.3% share) and vehicles with AT decreased 10.3% to 29,499 units (78.4% share).
Turkey's production of 105,644 units in February was down 9.0% YoY.
In February, imported vehicles were down 10.9% to 29,448 vehicles while exported vehicles were down 10.4% to 78,737 units.

Turkey passenger car sales decrease 12.4% and production decrease 14.7% in January
The Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) announced that passenger car sales 39,692 units in January 2022 represented a decrease 12.4% over January 2021.
According to the data from Automotive Distributors Association (ODD), Fiat sales were  6,871 units in January (18% market share), Renault sales were 4,684 units (12.3% share), Ford sales were  4,350 units (11.4% share), Hyundai sales were 3,703 units (9.7% share) and Dacia sales were 2,748 units (7.2% share).
Sales of passenger vehicles under 1,600cc decreased 13.9% YoY to 26,862 units (92.6% share), gasoline-engine car increased 6.6% to 21,565 units (74.3% share) and vehicles with AT transmission decreased 23.0% to 21,807 units (75.1% share).
Turkey's production of 90,520 units in January was down 14.7% YoY.
In January, imported vehicles were down 3.2% to 21,250 units and exported vehicles were also down 12.6% to 67,799 units.
