Brazil vehicle production up 2.4%, exports down 11.7% in April 2026 (ANFAVEA)
The Associacao Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veiculos Automores (ANFAVEA) announced that Brazilian vehicle production (excluding CKD production) in April 2026 of 238,498 units represented an increase of 2.4% from April 2025.
Of the vehicles produced in April, 182,990 were passenger cars; 42,792 were commercial vehicles; 9,672 were trucks and 3,044 were buses.
The total production in the first four months of 2026 was up 4.9% to 872,624 units.
Exports of 43,230 assembled vehicles in April represented an 11.7% decrease from the units exported in April 2025.
Of the vehicles exported in April, 33,242 were passenger cars; 7,318 were commercial vehicles; 2,239 were trucks and 431 were buses.
A total of 820 CKD kits were exported in April, consisting of 585 trucks and 235 buses.
Vehicle exports in the first four months of 2026 totaled 142,436 units, down 16.9% year-on-year.

Brazil vehicle production up 35.6%, exports up 1.1% in March 2026 (ANFAVEA)

The Associacao Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veiculos Automores (ANFAVEA) announced that Brazilian vehicle production (excluding CKD production) in March 2026 of 264,114 units represented an increase of 35.6% from March 2025.
Of the vehicles produced in March, 199,695 were passenger cars; 50,214 were commercial vehicles; 11,131 were trucks and 3,074 were buses.
The total production in the first three months of 2026 was up 6.0% to 634,665 units.
Exports of 40,439 assembled vehicles in March represented a 1.1% increase from the units exported in March 2025.

Of the vehicles exported in March, 30,387 were passenger cars; 7,312 were commercial vehicles; 2,441 were trucks, and 299 buses.
A total of 1,084 CKD kits were exported in March, consisting of 923 trucks and 161 buses.
Vehicle exports in the first three months of 2026 totaled 99,700 units, down 18.5% year-on-year.

The Associacao Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veiculos Automores (ANFAVEA) announced that Brazilian vehicle production (excluding CKD production) in February 2026 of 204,345 units represented a decrease of 8.2% from February 2025.
Of the vehicles produced in February, 152,346 were passenger cars; 41,499 were commercial vehicles; 7,797 were trucks and 2,703 were buses.
The total production in the first two months of 2026 was down 8.9% to 367,951 units.
Exports of 33,511 assembled vehicles in February represented a 34.0% decrease from the units exported in February 2025.
Of the vehicles exported in February, 23,916 were passenger cars; 8,084 were commercial vehicles; 1,169 were trucks, and 342 buses.
A total of 486 CKD kits were exported in February, consisting of 403 trucks and 83 buses.
Vehicle exports in the first two months of 2026 totaled 59,366 units, down 28.0% year-on-year.

The Associacao Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veiculos Automores (ANFAVEA) announced that Brazilian vehicle production (excluding CKD production) in January 2026 of 159,552 units represented a decrease of 12.0% from January 2025.
Of the vehicles produced in January, 120,474 were passenger cars; 30,472 were commercial vehicles; 6,786 were trucks and 1,820 were buses.
Exports of 25,855 assembled vehicles in January represented an 18.3% decrease from the units exported in January 2025.
Of the vehicles exported in January, 19,814 were passenger cars; 4,626 were commercial vehicles; 1,106 were trucks, and 309 buses.
A total of 259 CKD kits were exported in January, consisting of 221 trucks and 38 buses.
