Business Overview

-The Company develops wireless connectivity, computing, and on-device AI technologies, systems, and services. The Company’s Snapdragon Digital Chassis platforms, which manage specific vehicle domains including connectivity, digital cockpit, ADAS and automated driving platforms, are used in the automotive industry to enhance the in-cabin experience, increase personalization, and provide a comprehensive assisted and automated driving solution.

-The Company aims to support companies across a variety of industries in their digital transformation through its advanced technologies, enabling sustainable growth, improved efficiency and productivity through the development of devices that are more capable and connected. Notably, the growth of generative AI will further accelerate the digital transformation of companies. The Company aims to provide the capabilities of generative AI directly to a range of systems such as smartphones, PCs, vehicles, mixed reality devices, and IoT.

-As the automotive industry advances, the Company is expanding its collaborations with its partners such as Google to integrate advanced generative AI and Gemini models into the Snapdragon Digital Chassis. The Company’s goal is to integrate AI’s capabilities within all domains in the vehicle to create a unified intelligence that can communicate across various vehicle systems. Through a holistic AI integration, the Company aims to enable vehicles that can understand natural language, anticipate driver needs, improve efficiency and provide highly personalized experiences.

-The Company has three reportable operating segments. Its business is primarily conducted through its QCT semiconductor business and its QTL licensing business:

Segments	Segment Overview
QCT (Qualcomm CDMA Technologies) semiconductor business segment	The segment develops and supplies integrated circuit products and system software with connectivity and computing technologies for a range of applications including automotive, consumer electronics, industrial devices, and edge networking products.
QTL (Qualcomm Technology Licensing) licensing business segment	The segment grants licenses and provides rights to use portions of the Company’s intellectual property portfolio, including patents essential or useful to products implementing WCDMA, LTE, and OFDMA-based 5G standards.
QSI (Qualcomm Strategic Initiatives)	The segment makes strategic investments aimed at developing new opportunities for the Company’s technologies. The investments are also aimed at supporting the introduction and development of new products and services.
