-The Company has three reportable operating segments. Its business is primarily conducted through its QCT semiconductor business and its QTL licensing business:
- QCT (Qualcomm CDMA Technologies) semiconductor business segment: The segment develops and supplies integrated circuit products and system software with connectivity and computing technologies for a range of applications including automotive, consumer electronics, industrial devices, and edge networking products.
- QTL (Qualcomm Technology Licensing) licensing business segment: The segment grants licenses and provides rights to use parts of the Company’s intellectual property portfolio, including products implementing WCDMA, LTE, and OFDMA-based 5G standards.
- QSI (Qualcomm Strategic Initiatives): The segment makes strategic investments aimed at developing new opportunities for the Company’s technologies. The investments are also aimed at supporting the introduction and development of new products and services.
