Summary
TECHNO-FRONTIER 2026, organized by the Japan Management Association (JMA), was held July 15-17, 2026, at the Tokyo Big Sight conference and exhibition center's West Exhibition Hall.
TECHNO-FRONTIER is a trade show exposition that started in 1983 as the Small Motor Technology Expo (this is the 44th Motor Technology Expo). According to an announcement by JMA, the total number of visitors for the three-day event was 33,637, a 16.3% increase compared to last year’s attendance of 28,928. The visitor count also includes the number of visitors who registered for concurrent exhibitions (including Maintenance & Resilience TOKYO 2026, Extreme Heat Countermeasures Exhibition, Occupational Safety and Health Exhibition, and Noise and Vibration Countermeasures Exhibition).
This report introduces the exhibits on electrification technologies, including disassembled electric vehicles, e-Axles, motors for micromobility applications, motor and power electronics-related parts, materials, and manufacturing processes, measuring instruments, and charging-related equipment.
