Summary
The IAA Mobility 2025 mobility trade fair (International Motor Show Germany) attracted 750 exhibitors from 37 countries, 1/3 of which were Chinese brands, making it the country with the largest number of exhibitors. This report covers the models exhibited by XPeng, Chery, Changan, FAW Hongqi, and Dongfeng Liuzhou, as well as the overseas strategies of these companies.
XPeng presented The next P7, as well as the G6, G9, and X9. Chery exhibited several NEV models from the Omoda and Jaecoo brands. Changan held the world premiere of the "Vision Xpectra" concept car from its Avatr brand, and said it aims to enter the European market with its Deepal brand. By 2028, Hongqi plans to release 15 models in Europe and build a network of more than 200 locations. Dongfeng Liuzhou exhibited models such as the S7 REEV version and V9, and set a goal of annual sales outside China of 300,000 units by 2030.
