Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025: Major Two-wheeler OEMs

New technologies for alternative fuels, and advancements in electric mobility

2025/03/06

Summary

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 marked a notable shift among established two-wheeler manufacturers towards alternative fuels. These OEMs unveiled their latest lineups and advancements in alternative energy technologies, although new model announcements were limited. Brands like Hero MotoCorp, TVS, Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, and Bajaj showcased both new models and existing offerings. However, key players such as Royal Enfield and Piaggio were absent from the event.

A major highlight was the display of CNG technology advancements for two-wheelers by OEMs like Bajaj and TVS. In alignment with the government’s vision, manufacturers also highlighted their progress in flex-fuel and ethanol-based vehicle development. Additionally, the event marked the debut public display of electric two-wheelers from Japanese OEMs, with Suzuki and Honda presenting their electric scooter lineups in India. The luxury bike segment was limited, with BMW Motorrad being the sole participant from that category.
