Summary

  India is one of the leading manufacturers of cars, commercial vehicles, and two-wheelers. In recent years, India has made significant strides toward new energy, sustainability, and cost-effective transportation technologies. To showcase these innovations and newly developed models, industry bodies, with the support of the Government of India, organized the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The event attracted a wide range of participants, including major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), suppliers, battery manufacturers, and other key players from the transportation and automotive sectors.

  This report provides a comprehensive overview of the Bharat Mobility Show and its inauguration by the Prime Minister of India. It highlights key exhibits, new model launches, and significant announcements from leading Indian OEMs for passenger cars.   Building on last year’s success, the Government of India organized the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 as a major mobility event, covering all aspects of the sector, from raw materials and components to software and new urban mobility concepts.

  Held from January 17-22, 2025, across three key venues Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, and the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, the expo has become India's largest mobility event. The event attracted 983,522 visitors across the three locations and covered over 200,000 square meters.

  The theme of the expo was "Beyond Boundaries: Co-creating the Future Automotive Value Chain." This vision aimed to foster collaboration and innovation within the automotive and mobility sectors, with a strong focus on sustainability and cutting-edge technological advancements.

  The expo was organized by the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC) with the joint support of various industry bodies and partner organizations SIAM, ACMA, IESA, ATMA, ISA, NASSCOM, ICEMA, AICMA, MRAI, ITPO, Invest India, IBEF, CII, Yashobhoomi, and IEML.

  With over 1,500 exhibitors from various mobility sectors, the event featured 239 product launches across multiple concurrent shows. The Auto Expo Motor Show 2025 saw 90 vehicle launches, including passenger cars, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and commercial vehicles. The Auto Components Show at Yashobhoomi highlighted 97 product and technology launches.
