TECHNO-FRONTIER 2024 was held July 24-26, 2024, at the Tokyo Big Sight international exhibition center.
According to an announcement by the organizer, the Japan Management Association (JMA), the number of registered visitors to TECHNO-FRONTIER 2024 (3-day total) was 22,932, while the total number of visitors including those to concurrent exhibitions (Maintenance & Resilience Tokyo, Extreme Heat Countermeasures Exhibition, Occupational Safety & Health Exhibition, and Noise & Vibration Control Exhibition) was 36,630, up from 33,940 last year. Although it is difficult to make comparisons due to the change in the composition of the exhibitions, the number of participants is estimated to have increased by 20% compared to the 30,447 participants in 2019, before the COVID pandemic.
TECHNO-FRONTIER is an exhibition that started in 1983 with the Small Motor Technology Expo (this is the 42nd Motor Technology Expo), and while the number of exhibitors of motor products and motor manufacturing equipment is on a downward trend, exhibits from overseas component suppliers such as those from China have increased.
This report presents an actual BEV exhibit, a teardown product exhibit, motors and motor-related components, power devices and power electronics-related components installed on inverters, and sensors.
