Sales increased by 30.7% year-over-year (y/y) and net income for the period increased by 93.2% y/y; the company expects sales to increase by more than 30% y/y in the July-September period. (NXP) and Infineon Technologies AG (Infineon), is a leading semiconductor manufacturer in the automotive semiconductor industry, and automobiles are an important application for Renesas, accounting for about half of its sales.
