 This report introduces the main new energy vehicles (NEVs) from the major Chinese state-owned automakers exhibited at the 2020 Beijing Motor Show. The Beijing show was the first major motor show held in 2020, where the China OEMs were actively promoting NEV concepts and new models to the world.

 The BAIC Group unveiled the first PHV model from the BEIJING brand, centering on the NEV models of BAIC and BJEV (Beijing Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd.). The company also unveiled the ARCFOX αT, an EV from its joint venture with Magna.
 The SAIC Group unveiled a variety of NEV models, including EVs, PHVs and FCVs, and showed off the MG and Maxus models that are now being deployed to global markets.
 China FAW, whose long-established Hongqi brand is doing well, announced that it will display the Hongqi model electric SUV and open a customization center for Hongqi models to meet customer needs. The Bestune brand has officially launched the E01, which adopts the same platform as the Hongqi brand.
 Dongfeng Motor Group unveiled the second i-Free of its VOYAH electric car brand, announced in July 2020. A commercial MPV with a range extender was also unveiled by the Dongfeng Fengxing brand.
 The GAC Group announced the GDA Project, which will accelerate its digitalization over three years. The GAC products on display focused on GAC New Energy Automobile’s Aion series, and in terms of technology, the company's new "MEGA WAVE POWER" engine and transmission products as well as its "4-in-1" integrated electric drive unit.
