   According to statistics of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), production of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) in July 2020 increased 16.5% year-over-year (y/y) to 99,000 units and sales of NEVs rose 21.3% y/y to 97,000 units, the first increase in 12 months. From January to July 2020, production and sales of New Energy Vehicles were 491,000 units and 481,000 units, respectively, of which NEV passenger car production and sales were 446,000 and 436,000 units, respectively.
