- The Global Light Vehicle (LV) selling rate rose for the third consecutive month to 91 mn units/year in July 2022, the best performance for the year thus far. Despite the improvement in performance, year-todate (YTD) sales were still down 6.4% from the same period in 2021.
- Ongoing improvement in China has spurred global selling rate growth. This strength, however, is not reflected in other major markets, which continue to be constrained by supply issues and the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
