The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) announced the production and sales volumes of passenger cars (including sedans, SUVs, MPVs but not minivans) for July 2021.
Retail
July retail sales of passenger cars totaled 1.5 million units, reflecting a year-over-year (y/y) decrease of 6.2%.
New energy vehicles (NEVs)
In July, wholesale volumes of NEV passenger cars were 246,000 units, up by 202.9% y/y.
