All about Geely

On April 8, Geely Auto announced that together with Infineon Technologies (China) Co., Ltd., it recently opened an innovation application center at the Geely Automobile Research Institute in Hangzhou Bay, Ningbo. The two companies will cooperate in multiple fields of application through the innovation application center, such as electric powertrains, cockpits, functional domain/area controls, chassis, and ADAS. They will also be dedicated to customer needs, aiming to accelerate the launch of new products and solutions.

On April 9, Jiyue Auto formed a strategic partnership with Lynk & Co for the creation of a new after-sales service system.

The two parties will cooperate on intelligent vehicle after-sales services such as basic maintenance, accident electromechanical equipment maintenance, sheet metal spraying maintenance, and insurance claims. They will harmonize their service standards to provide Jiyue Auto users with one-stop after-sales service experience.

According to the plan, Jiyue Auto will cover over 120 Chinese cities with its after-sales service network by the end of 2024. The company also established a cloud-based online service center for its users.

According to multiple press releases dated April 9, workshops for a Geely electric vehicle battery pack project in Xiangtan were recently put into use, and manufacturing devices under a Geely electric vehicle battery project at the Geely Auto Xiangtan Plant are being debugged.

Invested and built by Xiangtan Shanju Battery Co., Ltd., a new Geely Auto Group wholly-owned subsidiary, the Geely Aegis battery manufacturing project mainly covers New Energy passenger models and export models. With a total investment amount of around CNY 630 million, the project is expected to achieve an annual output value of around CNY 5 billion upon full commissioning.
