On July 25, Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. (DFAC) announced that its abbreviated stock name will be changed from "Dongfeng Automobile" to "Dongfeng Share" from July 30, 2024. The stock symbol "600006" remains unchanged.

The reason for the above change was mentioned in DFAC's announcement. As DFAC, Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd. (DFAC's direct controlling shareholder) and Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFAC's indirect controlling shareholder) all adopt the same Chinese characters "东风汽车" (translated as "Dongfeng Automobile" or "Dongfeng Motor") in their company names, it will cause confusions to readers in disclosed information and official press releases. In order to help investors, customers and other relevant parties better identify DFAC and distinguish the business information of DFAC from those of its controlling shareholders, DFAC decided to change its abbreviated stock name.

The change of abbreviated stock name does not involve the adjustment of DFAC's development strategies and business plans. The main business of DFAC will remain unchanged.
