On January 30, according to multiple press releases, Voyah has undergone industrial and commercial changes, with Ganfeng Lithium Group Co., Ltd. (Ganfeng Lithium) added as a new shareholder with others, increasing its registered capital from CNY 2.61 billion to about 3.085 billion.
Additionally, according to media reports, Fang LU, CEO of Voyah, recently mentioned in an internal letter to all employees that products related to 800V high-voltage fast charging and hydrogen power will be launched going forward.

According to a Dongfeng Motor (DFM) official website press release dated January 18, the first batch of mass-produced Voyah Free DNA intelligent electric SUVs officially rolled off the production line at the Voyah final assembly plant and started deliveries.
The new vehicle was launched on August 26, 2022, with production limited to 3,000 units. The extended-range and battery electric models were priced at CNY 379,900 and 419,900, respectively. The vehicle is a personalized and customized SUV jointly created by Voyah and Chuangji DNA, a personalized customization brand and is the first product under Voyah’s personalized customization ecology.
In terms of appearance, the new vehicle adopts the “nautilus” bionic machinery design concept, creating the visual sense of a nautilus floating in the ocean. The body colors are Taichi Black and Taichi White in matte paint, presenting rich layers in different light.
In terms of performance, the new vehicle is equipped with dual motors in the front and rear, accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4.3 seconds and has a maximum speed of 200km/h. It also comes standard with 100mm self-adaptive adjustable air suspension, Michelin high-performance sports tires and 8155 in-vehicle chips.

On January 16, Dongfeng Motor Parts and Components Group Co., Ltd. (DFPC) announced that it held the opening ceremony of its smart equipment industrial park in Shiyan City, Hubei Province. This move represents a huge milestone for DFPC’s Shiyan plant in its transformation and upgrading process. The industrial park is expected to deliver an annual product output value of over CNY 3 billion.
Built based on digitization, automation, informatization, and intelligence, the industrial park mainly produces automotive equipment products such as dies, machine tools, digital and intelligent technology products, as well as automotive parts such as reducers for New Energy Vehicles, special assemblies for off-road vehicles, and high-end precision gears.
Two subsidiaries of DFPC, namely Dongfeng Machine Tool Plant and Die Branch of Dongfeng Die & Stamping Technologies Co., Ltd., have moved into the park. The largest BIPV (building integrated photovoltaics) project in Hubei Province is also constructed there, capable of generating 460 million kWh of clean electricity and reducing 390,000 tons of CO2 emissions during its entire life cycle.
