GM lifts monthly one-week production suspension at Alvear plant in Argentina
GM has ended the suspensions for one week each month at its Alvear plant in Santa Fe, Argentina, and the plant is now operating five days a week on a single six-hour shift, effective August 19. Earlier reports of January 2026 indicated a plan to extend the suspension through the end of 2026.
