VWGA completes new solar project at Kariega Component plant, South Africa
On July 17, Volkswagen Group Africa (VWGA) announced that it has completed a new solar power project at its Component Plant in Kariega, South Africa.
It was completed in June 2026, the project includes 1,410 solar panels installed on rooftops, car park, and ground-mounted portion, with a total capacity of 0.88 MWp.
