Summary
The Toyota Business Fair (sponsored by Toyota City and the Toyota City Chamber of Commerce and Industry) was held at Sky Hall Toyota on May 22 and 23. This Business Fair has been held since FY2009 in part to overcome the global economic recession caused by the Lehman Brothers collapse in 2008. The event is a comprehensive exhibition with displays from a wide range of businesses and organizations, mainly serving as a venue for manufacturing companies in the automotive industry in the area surrounding Toyota City, Japan, producing superior technologies and products, as well as retailers, service providers, public institutions, and support organizations. This year marked the 15th time the event has been held, and it was a huge success, with 143 exhibitors. This report will cover Toyota Motor Corporation's special exhibit and the technologies exhibited by parts suppliers.
