Mexico targets auto, steel tariffs ahead of USMCA review on July 20
Mexico will ask the U.S. to eliminate tariffs on automobiles, steel, and aluminum during the USMCA review scheduled for July 20. Mexico President Sheinbaum’s administration submitted a 13-point agenda to restore certainty for manufacturers and prevent future unilateral trade actions.
