Porsche uses Robotic Axle Inspection System at Leipzig plant, Germany
On May 22, Porsche announced that it uses an automated inspection system that combines robots with human expertise to ensure quality. At the Porsche Leipzig plant, newly assembled axles are checked by four robotic arms. They scan and inspect up to 130 points on each axle in 80 seconds.
