Samsung Electronics to supply 5G modems to Tesla, initially for robotaxis

According to industry sources on January 13, Samsung Electronics' System LSI division has completed development and is currently testing a 5G modem for Tesla vehicles. Supply will begin in the first half of 2026. The initial batch will be used in robotaxis operating in Texas, and expanded to general vehicles later.
