UK passenger car sales down 2.0% in August 2025
UK passenger car sales decreased 2.0% to 82,908 units in August 2025, according to the data released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) on August 5. Year-to-date sales increased 2.1% with 1,265,281 cars registered in the January-August period of 2025.
